Health Club Member and Trainer
PGB has influenced my life beyond the gym. More than I could have ever imagined. Not only do I carry myself with more self-pride, but I feel as if anything is possible and I can achieve any goal I set for myself. PGB changes you physically, and the emotional and mental impact is just as profound.
It boosts your self-esteem and is a great stress reducer. Since signing up for PGB in August 2010 I have earned my pink wraps, pink gloves, mitts and have become a certified PGB trainer.
Not only do I teach PGB, but I am still a member of my original class and am currently working on my first stripes for my gloves. WOW!
If you would of told me 11 months ago that I would be where I am today. I would have said, “Impossible!” Well, I have managed to turn the impossible, into the possible and now I get to share my love and enjoyment of PGB with other members of my class. Not to mention the rest of the community.
PGB has become a second family where we all truly care about each other. It’s a support system like no other. When I was asked to demonstrate PGB at our local mall (in front of strangers) I initially thought there was no way I would ever do something like that.
However, my encouraging trainer/mentor, Donnette (who is now a wonderful friend of mine), made me realize that I could do anything.
Ever since then, I have not looked back. When asked if I was interested in becoming a trainer I didn’t have to think twice, I saw it as a great opportunity.
The most rewarding part of all is watching the other students. The smiles on their face when they execute a perfect punch combo and the joy they bring to each class is priceless.
