The most important part of running the Tier System is explaining its importance and promoting its benefits. That is why they don’t only put sugar in the cookie, but also in the name. Using the in-class PGB Scoreboard, make sure you explain to the members:
- Where they have progressed to
- Where they need to go
- How they need to get there
Enlighten them on the use of their Pocket Scorecards and PGB Manual. As they progress, it is the trainer/manager’s responsibility to keep up-to-date with each member’s progression and help them make it to the next level. Some members may not want to progress. That is ok, but don’t let this limit the others or keep you from logging even the slowest of movements on the PGB Scoreboard.
Also remember that PGB Test Days are vital. Test Days bring everyone together in an electric atmosphere to help push members to their limit and establish more empowering perceptions of themselves.
